Chifa Izakaya is easily one of the best dinners I’ve had in Zurich this past year. Went with a group of friends and tried a bunch of dishes. Standouts (all pictured) included the Tantan “Bolognese” - rich, spicy, and incredibly comforting with a creative twist. The CHIFA fried rice was packed with flavor (we got the veg version with roasted corn and artichokes - WOW!), the Lomo Saltado had such tender ribeye, and the Pulpo Gangnam style had really fresh octopus.
The cocktails are just as impressive, and the vibe is stylish, lively, and relaxed. Amazing food, great drinks, and a cool atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back and try some more dishes!

Delicious food. The quality of the ingredients shines and it is definitely a great place for playful foodies. I loved cutting the food with scissors and using forceps to eat. Everyone including the chefs are incredibly nice and attentive

The food is absolutely amazing! It doesn’t matter what you order, it will blow your mind! The flavors are unbeatable and always cooked to perfection. Don’t miss out on the amazing piscos either (or dessert). The staff is wonderful and the service is great. Will come back over and over again.

Great food and generous portions. It’s a sharing concept and they recommend 2–3 dishes per person, but I’d suggest starting with two.
I’m giving 3 stars for atmosphere because the food smell lingers and sticks to your clothes. Service was very good, with friendly and attentive staff.

Been to the opening night of the restaurant, and as a foodie you know that restaurants will have some difficulties in the beginning, which is a very normal thing. Chifa Izakaya DID NOT at all!
Everything in the operations was smooth, the staff gave good recommendations and the hosts clearly knew what they were doing and serving!
5 stars for service and ambience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Let's talk about the food now and let's get straight to the point: 5 stars well-deserved! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You have the acclaimed chefs from Püente and Gaijin Izakaya working together, which already makes it an awesome experience to start with - paired with amazing dishes which feel both exciting and comforting at the same time. Guys, isn't this the essence of having food?
Masterfully mixing Peruvian, Chinese and Japanese cuisine, every dish we had was so on point and a delight to have.
My recommendation is "The Chifa", which should give your meal a gorgeous ending. To quote the chef: "it's a mix of risotto, paella and fried rice". And it really was!
One of the best openings in Zurich 2025!!!!
